Our collection combines the beauty and functionalism of traditional, hand- crafted artistry with modern geometric shapes. Our boots have a generous, slouchy, feminine shaped shaft and is paired with a 2,5 cm stacked wooden heel. There are no zippers.
The complete Kindred Spirits collection is entirely hand made. From the hand woven Kilim fabric to our sole, these qualities make for a beautiful, custom fitting collection. Each pair of the Kindred Spirits boots is truly unique.
All of the kilim rugs used in the Kindred Spirits collection are handpicked and collected by the designers themselves. The kilim rugs vary in age in between 25 up to over 100 years old and are recycled in a respected way. Due to the natural dyes and hand weaving used to create the kilim, color, pattern, and texture will vary from pair to pair.
Only the best vegetable leather is used in the Kindred Spirits collection. Because of the nature and quality of the skins selected, each pair of boots will be unique. Natural marks and variations in shade will vary from pair to pair. All of the boots are treated with natural (olive) oil only.
Finding the perfect fit
The more you wear your boots, the better they fit. Kindred Spirits boots are built to fit. Much like your favorite pair of jeans they will begin to fit you and only you. Our boots will mold to your feet as you wear them. Over time they will become uniquely yours with a custom feel.

Kindred Spirits boots will age beautifully, gaining a wonderful patina if cared for and respected. Only use leather professionals to treat, clean, and condition your boots. Only use qualified cobblers or shoe repair stores to replace the rubber heelpiece when needed. For daily care we recommend:
All kilim fabrics are made by hand using natural dyes, which are sealed by a strong organic compound to avoid running of the color. Please use mild soap and water to clean the kilim fabric gently.
A shoe brush will generally take off most dried dirt, mud, or other residue from the leather.
Replace the rubber heelpiece after normal wear, prior to eroding any of the actual heels.
I can’t find a certain item in your web shop, is there any chance I may find it elsewhere?
All Kindred Spirits boots are unique so it’s impossible to find a certain pair somewhere else. The same items will never be in stock again which is the beauty of The Kindreds.

How do I return an item?
We offer full refunds or exchange of items (if stock available) within 14 days upon delivery. Items must be returned unused in perfect condition accompanied by the original invoice. Shipping charges on returned merchandise are at the customer’s expense. Refunds for returned merchandise will be made to the original purchaser’s credit card within two weeks of the return.

Will there be any additional costs to my order?
We charge for shipping on most orders, please visit the checkout page for your shipping cost. Orders to countries outside the European Union (EU) may be subject to VAT, import duties and/or taxes. Orders and tracking
Can I change my order?
An order cannot be changed once the merchandise has been processed at our warehouse. However, items may still be exchanged or returned within 14 days after you have received them. In such cases, shipping charges on the returned merchandise are at the customer’s expense. Check the order status in your profile pages to see if the order has been sent. In some cases we may be able to change the order if it hasn’t been sent. Please contact us through email@example.com as soon as possible and notify us of the changes you wish to make. Make sure to have your order number available.
When will my order be shipped?
Your order will be fulfilled within two business days, subject to card clearance and stock availability. However, we do aim to ship every order the same day on weekdays.

Where is my order?
Once your order has been approved, you will receive an email confirmation with your shipping details and tracking number.
Can I add items to my order?
Additional items must be handled as a separate order in the web shop. If the first order has not already been processed at our warehouse, we might be able to combine the orders.. In such case, the additional shipping charge will be refunded to the original purchaser’s credit card. To improve your chances of receiving all items in the same shipment, please let us know about your orders as soon as possible. Returns and exchanges
I have received a faulty product, what should I do?
We will help you manage the shipment back to us, and make sure a new item is sent to you. Since we need to establish the details of the damage before we decide how to return the item, please do not send anything back to us without our knowledge and confirmation. How long time does it take for my order to arrive?
Shipping usually takes between 3 and 7 days, but may take up to 14 days for some destinations.
Is my package insured?
All items are insured against theft and accidental damage while in transit from the Kindred Spirits warehouse to the shipping address. Once your items have been delivered to the specified delivery address and signed for, they are no longer covered by insurance. In the same way the costumer have the responsibility items during returns and exchanges.
Will my favourite Kindred Spirits boots be restocked?
Our boots are all handmade and one-of-a-kinds. It’s impossible for us to restock any ot the original boots. Therefore we have plenty of choice.
Delivery & Returns

Shipping costs are automatically calculated and displayed when items are placed in your shopping bag!
For orders outside the European Union the purchaser may incur additional import duties and custom charges. These are levied at the port of ingress and are the responsibility of the purchaser.
We ship orders worldwide. Most orders will ship out within a day of ordering (we do not ship Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays). We aim to dispatch all our orders within 2-3 working days, however this may be slightly longer during particularly busy periods. Please be assured our customer service department will keep you updated at all times on the progress of your order. You will receive an email notification once your order has been dispatched.
Orders are generally received within 4-7 business days from the ship date. Delivery will be made by your local postal service.
You will receive an e-mail informing you that the order has been shipped. This email will contain a tracking number, so you will be able to track your parcel and see any updates about the delivery.
We hope you will enjoy every purchase you make at TheKindreds.com, but if you ever need to return an item you can do so within 14 days of receipt. We guarantee to refund any item you are not completely happy with when you return it to us in saleable condition. Refunds will be credited to your original method of payment. Please note that the shipping costs will not be refunded.
All items should be returned is in its original and unused condition, with all tags still attached and with all original packaging.
If we find that the product has not been returned to us in fully original condition, we reserve the right to refuse a refund on the item, or deduct up to 20% of the original selling price from the refund amount. Please therefore use adequate packaging to protect your package during transit of its return.

Our returns policy complies with The Distance Selling Regulations. In the case of placing a new order a re-delivery charge at our standard rate will apply.

We cannot accept responsibility for any items lost or damaged in transit. We strongly advise that a proof of postage certificate (free at your post office) should be obtained when returning any item.

We offer our customers to securely and conveniently send and receive payments online using PayPal. When you use PayPal, your financial information is kept private and every PayPal payment is followed by an email confirming your transaction. You can choose to pay with VISA, MasterCard, American Express or your already registered PayPal account.
This payment method passes your order along to PayPal who receive and control your order. If you have a registered PayPal account you can choose this for purchase without typing your credit card information. Signing up for a PayPal account is optional, which means that you as a customer can complete your payment first, and then decide whether you want to save your information in a PayPal account for future purchases.
Refunds are processed instantly. If the PayPal payment was funded by credit card the money will go back to the card and depending on the card issuer it may take up to four days before it shows on the customer’s credit card statement. Refunds of transactions that were funded by bank account or PayPal balance are credited instantly to the customer’s PayPal account.
